Life certainly has been fabulous for me lately as I have just returned from an amazing trip to France and Switzerland. A fortnight of stunning views with no internet access to keep me from enjoying them!
So as I have been incommunicado for so long there is lots to share with you and plenty of catching up to do!
I will start off with the fact that I am guest designer over at The Studio Challenges this month and I have the page I designed for the first of their challenges to show you today.
The challenge was simple enough - to use buttons on your layout.
The buttons around the stitched circle were incorporated on the way round.
Yes, I am still trying to use up my old stash and these fun papers just shouted summer at me!
Do you use products or techniques that you have not used in a while and then think 'I should do this more often'? I hardly ever use buttons on my pages anymore but I will definitely be changing that trend.
Fussy cut embellishments from the patterned papers.
I love adding little strip quotes and have sheets of them typed out and ready to use - handy for finishing touches.
The Studio Challenges (there will be three this month) run until 14th September so plenty of time to play along!
