I am excited to be a guest designer over at The Memory Nest this month and I was given a couple of great sketches to play with!
Here is the first one, designed by Crystal Schneider.
And my take on the sketch.
My photo's are from way back in 1988 and my parents Silver Wedding Anniversary.
I took my inspiration from the bright blue and red in the photo's for my colour scheme and found that papers in the Pebbles Seen & Noted collection were a perfect match.
I cut the word 'Silver' in my title using silver card, you cam't quite see the effect in the photo as I caught the light wrong.
My obsession with fussy cut flowers!
It's so therapeutic to sit and snip away at gorgeous floral papers, I highly recommend it after a stressful day - it's a bit like colouring in or stroking a cat on your lap!
I will share my second layout with you on the 13th July but until then don't forget to play along with us at The Memory Nest this month.
All the details of this challenge can be found at The Memory Nest Blog HERE.
Thanks for dropping in.
Hugs
Kerry. xx

ReplyDeleteHi Kerry, so pleased to have you guesting this month at The Memory Nest - always brilliant to discover other UK scrappers. I love how that taller middle photo balances out the two square photos - great idea. And of course your fussy cut flower embellishments are just perfect. xx
