Sketch Challenge over at The Studio Challenges.

The start of a new month of challenges over at The Studio Challenges blog today and we start the ball rolling with this cute sketch.

I started my layout with a background of banners that I cut with my Silhouette then backed with some gold glitter paper.

For my title I used a PL card and Ephemera from the MME On Trend 2 line that was part of my Like Forever Kit this month.

I also added some splodges with ink in a couple of places and place some of the elements of the sketch over the top.

More ephemera in the bottom corner.

The wooden words on my page were painted white and topped with 3D paint in subtle colours to compliment the layout colours.

I hope you will join us at The Studio Challenges this month and have fun using the sketch.
Here is the link to the blog and please check out the other DT members for inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. AWE. This is great! I am so interested in trying to cut a page similar to this... I recently purchased a new (and much improved from my last model) and well - one of these days I am going to give this technique a go! I am also thrilled that you scrapped this event even though the photos are not up to your standards. The memory is priceless! Isn't why we scrapbook? Cheers my friend!
