Last Monday's sketch challenge

Sorry it's taken so long to publish last weeks sketch challenge pages / cards I've been busy, busy, busy. The sketch was another from Triple The Sketch site and I have published the cards that were also made using the same sketch. The challenge was also to try and use fabric of some sort on the page/card, it could be fabric, ribbon, lace or felt -(anything that could be used it sewing.)

BasicGrey paper challenge

Do you remember this paper challenge my friend Helen and I set each other ( posted 23rd May)? Well we got together and checked out each others page and I thought you might like to see them too.
This first one is mine and I really struggled with trying to keep everything just in the top of the page so that the beautiful bird still showed, although I did cut around some of it and slipped the photo in underneath.

This is Helens page and I am totally impressed that she managed to cut out the whole bird! I haven't got the patience for cutting out intricate images but the bird does stand out more now that Helen mounted it on some sanded core-dinations paper (which she said was hard work to get the look she was after.)
Why don't you get together with a scrappy friend and challenge each other, it doesn't have to be complicated you could just use one element as we did with this paper. The important thing is having fun with friends, you could even complete it at each others houses and make it really sociable ( don't forget the snacks for the hard working brain, I always recomend cake!)

Sketch challenge

This is the sketch I gave out at my craft club a couple of weeks ago and below are the wonderful pages that have been done using said sketch. I sometimes add the extra challenge of a colour or item of stash but this was a free for all so all the pages look completely different.
The Sketch came from a sketch site called Triple The Sketch and if you like working from sketches it's worth a look as their design team post there pages they have done using the sketches ( please excuse the multiple use of the word SKETCH!).
Hope you enjoy looking at our work.

Aprils mini kit pages

Here are some of the mini kit pages that the ladies from my craft club did a few weeks ago but if you remember we had a blackout so I couldn't get the photo's taken. There are only a few of them as not everyone brought them back in this Monday but I hope to post some more later. If you want to see what was in the kit go to April 21st post as there is a picture of all the items.

The page above was done by Joan.... I forgot to take the photo of it with her name on.
