Blog Love.

I thought I would do some more blog love sharing, haven't done it in a while and decided that I should not keep the great blogs I find on my travels to my self.
Now you all know I love butterflies!!! Well I came across Lucy's blog a couple of days ago and the first thing I see is this card (swoon). I don't think she could have got anymore butterflies on it, but isn't it so easy to recreate in your own papers (don't forget to credit her if you can).

Why don't you pop over HERE to Lucy's blog and check out her other fab creations she really is a talented lady.
Anyway I hope to make Blog Love a regular feature here so make sure you check back to see what other amazing blogs I come across. Also if you would like to leave a comment and link to your blog I would love to come and take a peak.
If you have found a blog that you love and would like me to feature it here leave a comment or send me an email with the link.

Also when I opened the bag it was sent in I found this....

My order was all wrapped up in tissue paper and tied with some ric rac.

It was like opening a present!

and here are all my lovely things I got for my stash, my favourite is the little wooden hearts, can't wait to alter them.
Anyway if you were in any doubts about ordering from The Ribbon Girl I can highly recommend them.

Pet Tales

Over at A True Friend Blog this week we are scrapping our pets tales or adventures and below is my page about my gorgeous cat Bramble and how she came to be in our family.
I was really pleased with this layout even though it was a scraplift from the talented Melinda Spinks over at The Scrap Farm, because I managed to only use one piece of patterned paper ( it was really old too), all the flowers and the butterfly were cut from the middle so that if you look behind the page it will have a large section missing.

Here is a close up of the butterfly that I made using my Shapeabilities and a Martha Stewart punch.

I didn't have a chipboard 'B' so I just cut 3 b's from card using the Sizzix and one from glitter card and glued them all together to make it into chipboard thickness.

If you have a pet tale to share pop over to the True Friends Blog and leave a link in the comments we love to peek at your pet pages.

Strawberries and cream.

This week at Bradfield Craft Club it wasn't a normal meeting as we went for a trip out to Capture the Magic and then had a lovely meal at a pub called the Cherry Tree in Soham. But I did get some photo's of the challenge I set last time to show you, aswell as the sketches I set the colours of strawberries and cream (red, green and cream).
Below is the card sketch which is from CPS card sketches.
and here is the page sketch which is from My Little Sketch Blook.

this is my page.

this one is Joan's.

and this one is Pam's.

My card

Linda's card.

and Joan's card.
I gave out a mini kit for everyone to play with over the summer holidays, I love it when we all have the same papers and embellies to play with as it shows off everyone's different style of scrapping/card making. We will be meeting again on the 6th September, so plenty of time to play.
