Too High Daddy.

Hello and thank Crunchy it's Friday!
I have been busy cleaning the house so that I could sit and scrap this afternoon as I have wanted to attempt this sketch over at The Studio Challenges blog for a couple of weeks.

I really liked the design as it shouted 'paint splats' to me, so not one to ignore paint shouts I had a go at the challenge today!

Here is my take on the sketch and I got away with not adding the circle in the sketch because the balloon is in that area (cheating a little I know!)
This cute photo that I spotted on the computer back up is from ten years ago! Hubby and youngest DD are looking over at the sea from the top of the Mont Saint-Michel in France.

Here is a pic for those of you who have not visited- definitely worth it if you go to France.

Hand stitched heart with added confetti.

I just had to add this new flower stem die - with a splash of paint.

More paint - splashed and brushed on with added sequins!

More hand stitching under the title to ground it.

This challenge over at The Studio Challenges is open until the 13th October so head on over and check out the awesome DT examples. The link is HERE.

This morning we woke up to this fabulous rainbow that ended in the field at the back of our house. So we rushed out armed with our spades and dug several holes trying to find that 'Pot Of Gold at the End of the Rainbow'. Hubby is still out there digging ten hours later, that's dedication for you (or stupidity)! Will keep you updated on our treasure hunt!

I hope to be back some time over the weekend with another layout to share. In the mean time have a wonderful weekend. xxx
