Cool Cat!

This week over at A True Friend blog we have scrapped about school! Well sort of, we had to imagine that if our pet went to school what would be their favouite lesson.
Of course they don't have lesson's in sleeping, but then I remembered I had this photo of Molly from 2006 that my girls took of her after putting some toy sunglasses on her face! Purrrfect for Leisure and Tourism class don't you think?

Birthday Wishes

It's my eldest daughter's Birthday today and I thought I would post the card I made for her. As you can probably guess she like Tatty Teddy and I think the image of him holding the heart was so sweet I just had to use it.

I am off now to finish the cake before she comes home from school and put up some dec's.
Happy Monday to you.

Happy memories.

For me scrapbooking not only means I get to play with lots of pretty paper but I also get to remember the times our family gets the chance to do something different!

This page shows one of my DD stacking big stones on the shore at Thorpeness, we were all having a little contest to see who could stack the most stones without it falling over and she was the winner!

Sometimes it's the little things in life that provide the sweetest memories.

Boy and girl.

A couple of cards to share with you today this first one was for my nephew and I have trouble with boy cards normally but this one just came together.

This card was for my niece and I had to try and make it not too girly as she is a bit of a tomboy.

The images on both of the cards are from Lilli of the valley, they have such gorgeous paper products. Check them out HERE.
Thanks for looking in on me!

Food for thought.

Me and my dear friend Helen met up this week to chat, scrap, eat and chat some more, we always give ourselves a challenge for the next time we meet up and the challenge for this time was a page about food!

Helen's page as you can see is all about how much it costs to feed all her pets ( 7 cats, 2 rabbits and 1 growing puppy! ) quite a lot, but they are all worth the hours spent earning the money to pay for their food!

My page is about the fact that although I am ** years old, last week was the first time I have ever made soup! But it was so delicious that I will definitely be making some more.
Hope you like our pages.

Home Alone!

Having pets that can be left at home alone to fend for themselves is quite useful when you have to be out all day, but what do they really get up to!
For me that's an easy answer as we have 3 elderly cats that like nothing better than to be left with plenty of food, in a warm house with a litter tray should they need it.
We never come home to a mess of toys anymore and the food bowls are always cleaned out, even the budgies are not terrorised!
Over at A True Friends Blog this week check out the layouts about the designers pets at home alone and share your page or stories with us. Below is my page about our sleepy cats.

Earth Love.

A very quick post before I go and pick my girls from school. I started this page a while ago and was determined last night to get it finished as I have my page for A True Friend blog to get done this weekend.
The papers are from a collection by Cosmo Cricket called Earth Love, I'm sure you have seen them around as it is not a new collection but you can still buy it at Papermaze.
Sorry about the glare on the photos, I didn't realise until I had downloaded them.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hybrid Page

I went to Eclectic Keepsakes 1st crop today and met some lovely ladies and did a lot of chatting. But I did do some scrapping as well, below is the page I made using the hybrid kit that was given out. Lots of cutting out , some stamping and quite a few cute heart buttons were added! It has given me the incentive to try and get into hybrid a bit more as there are some really great digi kits out there (some of them are free!).

A big thank you to my mum for babysitting for me today and for doing
ALL OF MY IRONING!
You're a real star.

What's in a name?

Over at a True Friend blog this week the challenge was to scrap the reason why your pet is called their particular name.
In my case I have got two names Charlie and Lola - our very chirpy budgies who are named after the childrens book characters. These books (especially 'I Will Never Ever Eat a Tomato') were my youngest daughters favourite storys when she was a toddler.

Pop over to A True Friend blog and check out the other designers pages, then have a go yourself or leave a comment.
